13 Market Management offered strategic corporate advisory services to c-suite executives at Thom Browne during the acquisition by the Italian fashion brand Ermenegildo Zegna Group. Zegna acquired an 85% stake in Thom Browne at a $500 million valuation, allowing Thom Browne to execute an aggressive expansion plan that has resulted in rapid growth across all categories, channels, and regions.

+ PIN–UP launches PIN–UP Home

Navigating the changing market landscape in the design and publishing industries, 13 Market Management identified an opportunity to drive growth and expansion for the renowned media platform PIN–UP Magazine. Leveraging 13 Market Management’s experience and global network, PIN–UP HOME was founded in 2022 as the Magazine’s homeware and design brand. Inaugural brand partners include USM, Shayne Oliver, Grau, and de Sede.

+ Shayne Oliver is the next Jean Paul Gaultier designer

13 Market Management negotiated and executed Shayne Oliver’s strategic partnership with Jean Paul Gaultier. Drawing on the JPG couture archive, the 55 SKU capsule collection secured global distribution and a key marketing partnership with SSENSE at the 2024 Met Ball.

+ Office Ben Ganz wins Swiss Design Award

13 Market Management provided corporate consulting and strategic advice to Swiss designer Ben Ganz in launching his namesake studio Office Ben Ganz. Using its partner-driven approach over the subsequent years of management, 13 Market Management has executed precedent-setting deals for Office Ben Ganz with leading global brands such as Prada, Nike, and Frank Ocean’s Homer. This work was a key part of Office Ben Ganz’s recognition as the recipient of the Swiss Design Award in 2023.

+ Mowalola named Creative Director of YZY

13 Market Management advised, structured, and negotiated the landmark deal, appointing Mowalola Ogunlesi as Creative Director of YZY. This appointment led to the successful launch of the highly-anticipated MOWALOLA WET capsule collection, along with other innovative and provocative pieces. The collaboration showcased Mowalola's bold vision and YZY's commitment to pushing boundaries in fashion. Under her creative direction, YZY continues to redefine the industry's standards and spark meaningful conversations.

Shayne Oliver is the Founder and Creative Director of cult streetwear label Hood by Air. Hood By Air won the CFDA’s Swarovski Award for Menswear and was awarded special prize winner of the inaugural LVMH Prize.

+ Thom Browne

American designer Thom Browne founded his namesake label in 2001. Browne is currently the Chairman of the CFDA and has been honored with the CFDA Menswear Designer of the Year Award (2006, 2013, 2016) as well as the Cooper Hewitt National Design Award (2012). His designs are recognized by museums around the world including the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Costume Museum at Bath and the Mode Museum Antwerpen.
